Description
The FelixKeeb is an open source 5×12+4 (5×6+2 on each side) split ortholinear keyboard with hotswap sockets support released by beekeeb. It is based on Cipulot’s helixhschoc and MakotoKurauchi’s helix.

- Improved Battery Management: Power switches and JST battery sockets have been added to the FelixKeeb. These additions make it easier to control power supply and facilitate seamless battery replacement.
- Compatible with the original Helix firmware
The pre-built Wireless FelixKeeb Choc Split keyboard includes
- All the components will be soldered to the PCB, including
- Bluetooth nice!nano v2 controllers
- (optional) Sharp Memory-in-Pixel displays
- Diodes
- Kailh Choc v1 hotswap sockets
- Battery sockets
- Power switches
- Reset buttons
- Controller and display are socketed - Replace or reuse the core components without difficulty & extra room for batteries for the 401230 battery fits under the controller perfectly
- Pre-flashed ZMK firmware
Important Notes
- Battery Requirement: This keyboard does not ship with batteries. Please purchase a pair of 301230 or 401230 batteries with JST-PH connectors and the correct polarity from local stores.
- Wireless-Only: This is a wireless keyboard and cannot be used as a wired keyboard.
- Switch Compatibility: It is not compatible with the low profile Kailh Choc v2 or Gateron GLP or Cherry MX key switches.
- Firmware & Keymap Configuration:
- Requires compiling ZMK firmware using command-line tools or GitHub Actions.
- QMK and QMK Toolbox are not supported in this wireless version.
- DIY Assembly Required: Assembly of the case and keycaps must be done manually using a screwdriver.
