Review for beekeeb
tl;dr: I would buy again from beekeeb in a heartbeat.
Quality
The quality of the build was great. Leo soldered everything well. There were no intermittent issues with the hardware. The instructions to build are well done. The materials such as the plate, and the Smolo keys I purchased were fatnastic. I have no complaints about anything. The price is spot on for the quality you’re getting when ordering from beekeeb.
Customer support
Leo is awesome with the customer support. I like to really customize my layouts and have plenty of experience with QMK and some experience with ZMK. After making modifications to the keymap, I had some issues getting the nice!view to work. Leo was helpful along the way and was very responsive.
Leo went above and beyond what I would have expected. I noticed that there was a slight issue with the way that the Lily58 3d printed case was designed. Being wireless there’s an on/off switch on the bottom of the board. The case didn’t have a slot for where the switch was. This caused unnecessary stress to be put on the switch which would probably cause wear over time. I brought this up with Leo and they sent me a new case that took this into account and sent it over for free.
Packaging
The packaging of everything was very impressive. I know this seems like a tangent, but it goes to show just how thoughtful the shop is.
