The feature of Piantor:

- hotswappable key switches – with the choc hotswap sockets, you can change and lube Kailh Choc v1 key switches when needed
- RP2040 MCU – with huge memory in the controllers the keyboard can have 10 layers. You can also use the U2F flashing feature
- supports C (QMK) and Python (KMK) based firmwares
- programmable – you can use QWERTY, Colemak, Dvorak, Miryoku or any keymaps that you like
The new Piantor Pro version:
- Onboard ESD protections: The chip and USB-C connectors now have built-in electrostatic discharge (ESD) protections, offering increased safety and preventing potential damage.
- Short circuit prevention: The two halves of the board are connected using a USB-C to USB-C cable, ensuring there are no short circuits. The cable will be included in the parcel.
- 16MB Flash Memory: All board are equipped with 16MB flash memory.
- Eliminating the previous exposed component design: The new case fully covers and protects all the board’s components.
- The keyboard with the new case is approximately 5% lower in total height compared to v1.
The prebuilt Piantor Pro keyboard:
- No soldering tool is required. You do not need to solder any component to the board.
- A USB-C to USB-C cable will be included.
- Preflashed with VIAL firmware.
