Description
The HSHS52 (Hotswappable Hillside52) is a modified version of the Hillside52 keyboard, based on the original design by mmccoyd.
Features

- Slightly Curved Thumb Fan: Allows for relaxed & smooth movement and prevents strain
- Hotswap Sockets: Changing Kailh Choc v1 or the latest Choc v2 key switches anytime.
- (Optional) Memory-in-Pixel Display Support for enhanced functionality.
- Onboard JST Battery Sockets: No battery soldering required. Easily swap batteries when needed.
- Power Switch (On/Off): Save power by turning off the keyboard when not in use.
- Socketed MCU & Displays: Easily replace or reuse core components.
- Extra Battery Space: With the MCU sockets, the 401230 battery fits perfectly under the controller.

Important Notes
- Battery Requirement: This keyboard does not ship with batteries. Please purchase a pair of 301230 or 401230 batteries with JST-PH connectors and the correct polarity from local stores.
- Due to its compact design, standard MX keycaps is not compatible with this keyboard. Use tight-spaced (aka choc-spaced) keycaps with MX stem like Tai-Hao MT165-MX or THCS-MX.
- Wireless-Only: This is a wireless keyboard and cannot be used as a wired keyboard.
- Switch Compatibility: Supports Kailh Choc v1 / Choc v2 key switches only. Gateron Low Profile GLP key switches are not supported.
- No RGB Lighting: This keyboard does not include RGB LEDs.
- Rotary encoder is not supported.
- Firmware & Keymap Configuration:
- Requires compiling ZMK firmware using command-line tools or GitHub Actions.
- QMK and QMK Toolbox are not supported in this wireless version.
- DIY Assembly Required: Assembly of the case and keycaps must be done manually using a screwdriver.
