The feature of Piantor

• using the same layout as Cantor – the stronger column stagger making typing more comfortable for those who have short pinkies like me
• hotswappable key switches – with the choc hotswap sockets, you can change and lube Kailh Choc v1 key switches when needed
• breakable pinky column – you can convert the 42-key keyboard to a 36-key (same layout as Cantor Remix)
• RP2040 MCU – with huge memory in the controllers the keyboard can have 10 layers. You can also use the U2F flashing feature
• supports C (QMK) and Python (KMK) based firmwares
• programmable split keyvoard – you can use QWERTY, Colemak, Dvorak, Miryoku or any keymaps that you like

The new Piantor Pro

• onboard ESD protections: The chip and USB-C connectors now have built-in electrostatic discharge (ESD) protections, offering increased safety and preventing potential damage.
• short circuit prevention: The two halves of the board are connected using a USB-C to USB-C cable, ensuring there are no short circuits. The cable will be included in the parcel.
• 16MB Flash Memory: All board are equipped with 16MB flash memory.
• eliminating the previous exposed component design: The new case fully covers and protects all the board’s components.
• the keyboard with the new case is approximately 5% lower in total height compared to v1.

The prebuilt Piantor Pro keyboard with Aluminum Case includes

• A pair of Soldered PCB
• A pair of Aluminum  top case
  
• A pair of Aluminum / Acrylic Transparent bottom plate 
  
• Sound Dampening Silicone Sheets will be included in aluminum bottom plate option.
• No soldering tool is required. You do not need to solder any component to the board.
• A USB-C to USB-C cable for connecting the 2 halves of the keyboard will be included.
• Pre-flashed with VIAL firmware.
